Yangon portrait of a city

is a project that started in 2015, following an unlikely meeting, which ended up in partnership..
Eric merlin, who had just acquired the excelsior in yangon, was interested in a book project on yangon for heritage.
I immediately embraced the project, given that I had started Saigon 4 years earlier..
it took me 4 years of shooting in several trips to realize this beautiful project..
Yangon is incredible, crossing these streets and alleys, or discovering a stairwell in a ruined building, so many surprises that ultimately project us to a time from another time, that of the British Empire, and its architecture. Victorian.
I had a wonderful handyman who accompanied me every day of shooting, he was a great help to me, and very generous.
his name is San Min...
I also had recourse to my partner for modernist architecture mel schenck for the writings..
And finally I had my designer, who has already made saigon portrait of a city and my upcoming book The modernist architecture in vietnam..
This book was published in Yangon, unfortunately with the events, my book is blocked there..
In the middle term I will republish this book as soon as I have finished my project on Hanoi..
